Near and dear to our hearts, this single-use pouch makes 2 quarts of a delicious and refreshing hibiscus drink inspired by all the pitchers of Karkade (Egyptian hibiscus) we’ve drank in our life times!

We’ve blended organic dried Egyptian hibiscus with cinnamon, allspice, orange and ginger to create a perfectly balanced blend you can use to enjoy one of our favorite drinks.

To use:

For a cold drink, fill a stockpot with 8 cups of water. Add in the entire pouch of dried hibiscus. Add sugar (we recommend 1/2 cup sugar, but use more if you prefer it sweeter). Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Let steep 6-8 hours in the refrigerator for the ideal taste. If time is tight, we recommend 6 or 7 cups of water for a stronger flavor without the necessary steeping time. Strain before pouring into a pitcher, garnish with lime slices and mint (optional) and enjoy!

For a hot hibiscus tea, scoop 2 teaspoons of the hibiscus mix and boil in one cup of water. Flavor with honey, lemon, or whatever you enjoy most.
